Sawyer Pollock has been involved in the Hang since 2018, moving from an attendee to the volunteer team, and then officially a part of the Hang Team in 2022. He is originally from North Carolina and has been living in the city for about 8 years. He is a licensed pastor, a professional actor, and a lover of films, Dodger Baseball, and Carolina Hurricanes Hockey. He graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Ministry from Anderson University and has worked professionally both in the city and at regional theaters. He also co-owns a small business where he runs the books and keeps things in shape.

Sawyer's passion for teaching the Gospel, leading others to Jesus, and loving those in The Hang is at the very center of his calling, with all the aforementioned criteria aiding that effort. His heart is to serve New York City artists by telling them of the best news he's ever heard, the Gospel of Jesus, and encouraging them to live as members of God's Kingdom by being reflections of Jesus in their lives, their work, and their relationships. Sawyer considers it an honor and a blessing to get to do that through an amazing community like The Hang.

Sawyer lives in NYC with his wife (and best friend) Micayla, where they love playing games, taking walks, hanging out with friends, and enjoying life to the fullest.

Leah Beth Etheredge has been part of The Hang since moving to New York City in 2017. Over the years, she has served in many roles within the ministry, including member, volunteer, staff member, and now Co-Executive Director. Mentored by Jordan Grizzard and Kayla Grizzard, Leah Beth is passionate about discipleship, community, and creating spaces where artists can encounter Jesus and connect with each other.

A graduate of Baylor University with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Leah Beth has worked professionally Off-Broadway and regionally as a performer, director, and creative leader. She is also the co-founder of For the Makers Productions alongside Rachel Gifford, producing and developing bold new work centered on truthful, human storytelling.

Leah Beth cares deeply about the integration of faith and artistic excellence, believing the arts can be a powerful place for transformation, hope, and beauty that points us to The Lord. She considers it a profound honor to serve through The Hang and to help cultivate a community where artists feel seen, supported, and encouraged in both their creative work and their walk with God.

Greg Stamps serves as Associate Director of Development at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, where he helps connect donors with work that supports public policy research and education. He has spent more than two decades in nonprofit roles focused on fundraising, communication, and building long-term support for mission-driven organizations. Greg especially loves helping others discover the joy of generosity he has found through supporting and serving organizations in his community, across the country, and internationally.

Living in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Greg is involved in his church and local community and volunteers in teaching, small group leadership, and service projects. He has helped organize fundraising efforts, support communications and outreach, and strengthen ministries that serve families and vulnerable neighbors. Greg enjoys helping organizations explain their mission clearly, care well for supporters, and use their resources wisely on behalf of the people they serve. He and his wife, Becky, have two adult children, Abigail and Reese.​

Robbie is a business professional based in the Nashville area. Robbie is the founder and managing partner at Capital Business Solutions, a nationally recognized leader in software and services for nonprofit organizations. He is passionate about helping organizations operate more efficiently and strategically through strong financial and operational systems. Robbie is committed to excellence, relationship-building, and delivering solutions that create measurable impact. He is passionate about the mission and ministry of The Hang NYC and is proud to serve on the board of directors.  In his spare time, Robbie is a baseball and hockey fanatic.  He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Jenny and their 2 grandsons, Callum and Kai.

Courtney Menking has been working in the music and theatre industry her entire life. She grew up performing professionally, and studied Musical Theatre at Oklahoma City University. She lived in New York City for eight years after school, and performed all over the country on theatrical contracts. After four years in the city, she focused on performing within the five boroughs of NYC, including Off Broadway. For three years, she ran a Broadway Masterclass Booking Agency, representing over 60 Broadway Artists. She worked for Fellowship for Performing Arts under Max McLean for four years, booking and executing their University branch to bring their Off Broadway shows to campuses all across the United States. She is currently the Vocal Producer and Vocal Coach at her home church of Harvest Time in Greenwich, CT. Courtney lives in Connecticut with her husband and three young children.

Craig Etheredge is the Lead Pastor at CrossCreek Church, the President and founder of DiscipleFirst Ministries, and the author of Morning Thrive, daily devotionals online. Craig earned a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Theological Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Pastor Craig is a contributing author to Lifeway’s Disciple’s Path project, he also currently serves as Adjunct Professor of Discipleship at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to leading the local church, Craig is involved in the local community, serving as the President of the Board of Trustees for Baylor Hospital, Grapevine. He is passionate about the city of New York and watches to see people make disciples of all ages.

Kayla Grizzard Founded The Hang NYC with her husband Jordan in 2017. She oversaw the ministry as it grew from a 4 person bible study to where it is today. She worked professionally as an actress before and during her time in the city and was a missionary through the North American Mission Board. She now resides in Arkansas where her husband serves as the Associate Global Worship Pastor at Cross Church. Together, they run a theater company with the same heart as The Hang - To reach artists for Jesus.

Rachel has been part of The Hang NYC since its earliest days, attending one of the first unofficial gatherings in 2017 when Kayla and Jordan Grizzard began bringing artists together. Since moving to New York that year, she served on staff for several years (including through COVID) before joining the Board in August 2024.

God has used The Hang to shape Rachel’s faith and surround her with lifelong friendships. She cares deeply about cultivating spaces where artists are known and encouraged — where believers are anchored in their identity in Christ, and where those still exploring faith encounter the love of Jesus through authentic, welcoming relationships.

Professionally, Rachel is an actor and producer. She co-founded For the Makers Productions alongside Leah Beth Etheredge. She also serves as Chief of Staff to the CEO of Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy, where she connects strategy and operations across a multi-state organization. She loves bringing together creative vision and organizational leadership in service of mission-driven work and is grateful to steward that intersection on The Hang’s Board.

Jordan currently lives in Bentonville, AR with his wife of 17 years, Kayla and 2 daughters, Jozlyn & Kendall. Jordan (& Kayla) founded the Hang in 2017, and now he serves as a Worship Pastor at Cross Church in Arkansas. Jordan is an accomplished vocal producer/arranger and has been privileged to be a featured artist/soloist for numerous albums, concerts and productions across the nation.  He is an avid sports fan - Go Bucs :) and loves creating, coaching artists and leaders, and spending time with his family!

After rediscovering his faith in college, Garrett began full-time service to the local church in 2012. For six years he worked with Watermark Community Church’s young adult ministry called The Porch, a weekly gathering of thousands of 20s and 30s in Dallas-Fort Worth with extension sites around the country. Garrett holds doctoral and master’s degrees in Christian education from accredited seminaries. He and Gabi married in 2016 and moved to New York City in 2019 to start Mission City NYC. Garrett is a very strong supporter of the Hang in all ways. Mission City has been a partner financially and in ministry now for 2 years.

Jordan Richard is an Emmy Award winning television professional with over 20 years of experience. In that time, Jordan has worked with NBC News, ABC, FOX, and the SyFy Channel. Corporate clients include Chick-fil-A and Verizon. Jordan's production company, FourthMan Productions, currently has a feature film titled A Break In The Rain making the festival circuit and is developing a musical with contemporary Christian artist Lauren Daigle.

In addition to his production work, Jordan serves as an elder at the Gallery Church of Manhattan. He also runs an online Christian singles community called "Devout." Devout is the only Christian dating app that partners with the local church to help singles make Christ-centered connections.

Jordan lives in Manhattan with his Tony Award nominated wife, Elizabeth A. Davis, and their 2 kids and an aging pit bull.

Becky serves as the Chief Marketing Officer and Lead Coach at Undefeated Growth, where she trains leaders, equips church staffs, and helps individuals grow in unity, purpose, and healthy leadership. She also speaks at women’s events and regularly shares principles for personal and spiritual growth with audiences of all sizes. Becky is passionate about helping others discover practical ways to live with clarity, courage, and joy, and she loves seeing women step into new seasons of strength and faith. She has extensive experience mentoring women and young adults in her community and actively serves in her local church. Becky and her husband have two adult children.
